Szanowni Państwo, przedstawiam Kamillę Mariannę Świostek.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I introduce to you Kamilla Marianna Świostek.

W zeszłą niedzielę, 28 lutego o godzinie 12:20 na świat przyszła moja pierworodna córcia. Mój skarb, moja miłość i moje życie.

Last Sunday, on 28th February at 12:20 my first born little daughter came to this world. My treasure, my love and my life.

I have been thinking for a long time about this post. I was going to write how being there during the labour is an event that every man should experience, because it tightens the link with the mommy and with the baby. I was going to write how the fatherhood is beyond description (yes, I know). I was going to write how the „miracle of birth” has a different meaning in relation to the nine months of pregnancy and to the 18-hours long labour and a different one in relation to the little fist clenched around your thumb right after the birth. Etcetera, etcetera…

I to wszystko prawda.

And it is all true. But all these thoughts somehow disperse in this new reality with which I need to catch up. In the reality that suddenly sped up and which name is Kamilka. And after all those thoughts are dispersed, what remains is infinite and unconditional happiness and love.

At last, although I should have started with that, and taking Woman’s Day opportunity (but not only), I want to thank my lovely wife for this most beautiful gift I could have dreamt. I wish for everyone to live such a great experience.
