Marcin ŚwiostekMarcin Świostek

Proud husband and father.

Born in Skarżysko-Kamienna, Poland on April 12th, 1984.

I was raised in Starachowice, Poland, where I took my first steps in photography with a borrowed Russian Fed and no idea about shutter speed or whatsoever.

In 2003 I started my Spanish Philology studies in Poznan, Poland, where I started taking photography more seriously. I continued with Praktica DTL3, still borrowed, and then bought my first own camera Minolta 700si. Also, I got to know Maciej Małyszka and Michał Kułaziński who inspired me to continue with pictures. In 2006 I moved to Girona (Spain) where I continued and developed my creative activities with a group of friends from Ad’Art Association.

Currently I live and work in Cracow (Poland), where I focus on landscape photography for passion, concert photography for Antyportal.net and occasionally do some street photography.
